Hello November
As we move through the school year and reflect on our shared experiences, I am reminded of the power of gratitude and its impact on our community. In this spirit, we take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributes to the success and well-being of our students and our school.
Gratitude is more than simply saying "thank you." It is about acknowledging and appreciating the dedication, support, and kindness that each member of our school community brings. Our teachers, staff, parents, volunteers, and, most importantly, our students create an environment where learning and growth can flourish.
We are grateful for the tireless efforts of our educators, who inspire a love of learning every day. We recognize and appreciate the invaluable support from our families, who partner with us to guide and nurture our students. To our students, we are deeply thankful for your curiosity, enthusiasm, and resilience; you are the heart of our school.
In celebrating gratitude, we also encourage our students to reflect on what they are thankful for and to express their appreciation to those who have made a positive difference in their lives. Gratitude builds a stronger, more connected community and reminds us all of the importance of kindness and empathy.
Thank you for being a vital part of our school family. Your unwavering support and dedication are truly appreciated, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work together in shaping a bright future for our students.
With warmest gratitude,
Ms. Baltes

Why Attendance Matters
Regular attendance is crucial for every student's academic success and overall development. Here are a few reasons why attending school consistently is so important:
Academic Achievement: Students who attend school regularly are more likely to perform well academically. Every lesson builds on the previous one, so missing classes can make it harder to keep up with coursework, understand key concepts, and perform well on exams.
Social Development: School is not just about academics; it is also a place where students learn important social skills, such as teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution. Regular attendance helps students build friendships, develop social skills, and feel a sense of belonging within the school community.
Building Good Habits: Consistent attendance helps students develop responsibility and discipline. Learning to be on time and present is a valuable life skill that will benefit them in higher education and future careers.
Access to Resources: Schools provide a variety of resources that support learning, including access to teachers, extracurricular activities, libraries, and support services. Regular attendance ensures students can make the most of these opportunities.
Improved Well-being: Attending school regularly contributes to a student’s emotional and mental well-being. Being engaged in a routine, participating in school activities, and maintaining social connections can help students feel more secure, motivated, and positive about their education.
