Thoughts from Dr. Voelkl, Mrs. Winkler and your SCB Faculty and Staff,

Dr. Voelkl, Mrs. Winkler, and all the teachers and staff at SCB want to say THANK YOU to all of our amazing families! Thank you all for all you do for us and our kids. We completed an entire semester with your help and support and we know we asked a lot of everyone. There were so many smiles and overwhelming feelings of gratitude this week due to the endless surprises and care. There have been some very very hard days inside these walls with our teachers and students due to life just not being the same and it being hard. Days teachers feel they can’t keep going. Days teachers feel they have to totally change what they are doing one more time and we asked them to do something different just 2 days before. Kids coming and going every day and all week. We have asked more of our staff than ever before. YOUR sincere kindness and generosity truly brought joy, smiles, and the energy they needed to get over that final semester push. They truly felt the love. We thank ALL of you for being so supportive and patient with us as we guide these uncharted waters. We have the absolute BEST community and families at SCB! It truly is a place of love. compassion, and community. Thank you again for your never ending support. It meant the world to our teachers and staff! Have a wonderful Christmas with the children we love just as much. They are our why and reason for teaching.

Supplies/Materials

Heading into the SEMESTER BREAK is always a great time to check on supplies and materials. Have your child check their supply of crayons, markers, pencils etc. We are also now in need of paper towels and kleenex if you are out and about and able to pick some up for SCB.

BASK and Cafe

Where do I find out how much money I owe for BASK and/or cafe?

Go to the home page of FACTS. Then click on "Family" on the left hand side of the the screen. Then Cafe and BASK will appear on the center of that page. You can click on the blue "details" word and that will open up the account. REMEMBER a positive balance indicates that you owe money and a negative balance indicates that you have money in your account.

Please make cafe checks out to FSC or use paypal fsccafe@borromeoschool.com

Please make BASK checks out to SCB with Bask in the memo.

SIGN UP for Christmas Mass! 3:00 Mass is already full!!!

In order to avoid overcrowding at Christmas Masses, please register for Mass beforehand. Mass times will be Christmas Eve at 3p (English), 5p (bilingual), 7p (Spanish), and 11p (bilingual)—and Christmas Day at 7a (English), 9a (English), and 11a (Spanish). Register at www.bit.ly/scbchristmas2020 When you register, you will be sent an email with assigned seats for that Mass. If you do not register, we cannot guarantee that seats will be available.

From this app I can see my lunch and BASK totals. I can see all the announcements. Under announcements is where you can order Spirit Wear, see our teacher wish list, see SCRIP Info, learn where to send money for Cafe and sign up for BASK! It is super handy!

You can also search under the directory for family information. If you notice that your information isn't available, you can change your settings on your personal FACTS page.

Web Forms can also be accessed here. You can add people to your contact list here (under the Family Demographic tab).

There is a lot of information here and it is super easy to navigate.

How do I sign on to FACTS on my computer?

Some people are calling regarding signing into FACTS for the first time.

1) sign in to factsmgt.com

2) go to top blue tab that says "Parent Log In"

3) click the down arrow and select "FACTS Family Portal (ParentsWEB)

4) District Code: SCB-MO

5) User name: (your first initial then last name ex: jdickherber

6) Password: (your choice)

*** To follow up on the email that was sent out earlier this week, we want to stress the importance of masks. Masks must have a minimum of two layers. Most Gators do not have two layers, so please do not have your child wear them. We have also found that students who wear the Gators do not consistently wear them properly. Not wearing masks or gators properly WILL result in students being quarantined. We would REALLY like to eliminate Gators when we return after Christmas.
