Students will complete Language Arts and Math assessments.
On Monday, December 2nd parents (2-8) and students (grades 6-8) will receive Test Codes and Student ID's. In the event that a student is unable to complete CASE at home, we will require students to complete the assessment in-person.
24-25 Attendance Reminders
Parents please notify Ms. Carnathan if your student is absent. We are required to receive absence notes from parents or physicians within 5 days of a student's absence. We are unable to accept student communication regarding absences. In the event that we do not receive an excuse note, the absence will be counted unexcused.
What You Need to Know About Attendance
- If your student misses homeroom for any reason, please notify the school.
- After 10 absences accumulate, a physician's note will be required for all future absences.
- Students accumulating five or more unexcused absences will be referred for Tiered Truancy Intervention.
- Students missing 10% or more instructional days during the school year are counted as chronically absent in the state of TN. Please note there isn't a distinction between excused and unexcused absences regarding chronic absences.
- Assignments for the instructional day must be completed between the hours of 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM Monday-Friday to be counted present-daily.
How Daily Attendance is Verified:
- Attending and Participating in daily morning meetings
- Logging in 6.5 hours per instructional day in Pearson
- Maintaining course pacing in all subjects
