Short week ahead! Fall Break ends and the short 3 day week begins! With the return from Fall Break, we are on to the second half of the 1st semester and time is quickly moving! I'd encourage you to remain engaged, in the know and connected through PowerSchool in real-time. If you are into Wildcats Extracurriculars, there are lots of events happening this time of year to include but not limited to: Recent Chorus Concert, Upcoming Orchestra Concert, Football Region Play, Softball Playoffs, Volleyball Playoffs, Marching Band Competitions, Raider Competitions and much, much more. Never a dull moment on The Hill!

A big announcement by Governor Kemp during our time away was "GEORGIA MATCH". You might ask, what exactly is GEORGIA MATCH? The GEORGIA MATCH direct college admissions initiative is a simple way to know which University System of Georgia and Technical College System of Georgia institutions you are eligible for admission to based on your recently calculated high school HOPE GPA. Seniors will be receiving a letter this month from Gov. Kemp listing the colleges to which they are eligible for admission based on this GPA calculation. In other exciting news, RHHS received recognition recently from US News & World Report that it ranks as one of the "Best" High Schools in the state and also Nation based on their various indicator rankings. The rankings include the following factors: College Readiness Index, College Curriculum Breadth Index, State Assessment Proficiency State Assessment Performance.
