Hello SAS Families!
Bus route information is now available to be viewed on My Ride K-12.
Please follow the instructions on the SAS Transportation page of the website if you do not already have the My Ride K-12 app. Please note: you will need your student’s 6-digit ID number.
If you have questions about your bus assignment, feel free to reach out to the transportation team via email at transportation@salineschools.org or via phone at (734) 401-4479. We receive many emails and phone calls in the week before school begins, so please know that we will work to respond to everyone as quickly as possible.
As a reminder, we do have a no-transport zone closer to the school buildings and we do not permit students to ride any bus other than the one assigned to the registered home address. Unfortunately we do not have space on our buses to accommodate extra riders going home with friends or to a relatives home, etc.
Students in first grade and younger must be met at the bus stop by a parent or designated adult. If you would like to allow your younger student to get off the bus with an older sibling, please communicate this in writing to your bus driver.
For the first two weeks of school, please know that our elementary buses will likely be later than scheduled to the bus stop in the afternoons. The reason for this is that our school staff and bus drivers need extra time to make sure students are on the correct bus before leaving the school building. Once we establish a routine, times will begin to fall into place. We appreciate your patience during this time.
