Enduring as a Community
We all know the phrase, "it takes a village to raise a child", but I think we could really just say, "it takes a village...". We can take huge comfort in knowing that we are not alone. The Immanuel community is truly special in the ways they support one another, whether it be meal trains, tending to each other's children, or just offering words of encouragement. God sends us people all the time to help us carry our burdens. Galatians 6:2 calls us to bear one another's burdens and thus fulfill the laws of Christ. Do not be afraid to help one another or to in turn, accept help; keeping in mind our true comfort comes from knowing that God is always with us; in all we do.
Staff Highlight!
Meet our Food Service Staff!
Pam and Debi
Hi, my name is Pam and I’m the Hot Lunch Director.
I was born and grew up in Twin Falls; spending 18 years in Phoenix raising my son and daughter. While living there, I managed a fine dining steak and seafood restaurant, as well as an Italian restaurant. Eighteen years ago, I got married and moved back to Twin Falls, and started working at ILS. My adult children moved to Boise. My only granddaughter is attending the University of San Fransisco. That worried me to begin with, however after many trips to see her, I have grown to love San Fransisco. It has been one of my greatest pleasures interacting and being part of your kiddos daily lives.
Hi, my name is Debi, aka honey, mom, mother, mammie, grandma and “Hey lunch lady!”
I have been the kitchen manager for the last 13 years where I have had the privilege of working with my sister Pam and co-worker Robyn. Together, we plan the menus, analyze, and prepare the meals. We enjoy teaching the kids about portion control, healthy food choices, about waste, and using their manners.
I have been married 44 years. We have 3 children and 6 grandkids. I love the ocean, Disney Land/World, spending time traveling in our RV, and most importantly, I love my Savior.
May Gods’ blessings be with you and all His children always.
Robyn

4. We need sponsors! If you would like more information on helping to sponsor this event, please contact Mrs. Olson.
If you can help with any of these, please contact the office for more information.
