Hillsboro Highlights - May 2025

From the Desk of Dr. Darrell Brown
Dear Hillsboro ISD Families and Staff,
As the 2024-2025 school year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve shared. On Friday, May 23rd, the Class of 2025 proudly walked across the stage at Hillsboro High School, turning their tassels and celebrating their achievements. It was a privilege to shake each of their hands and wish them well as they begin their next chapter of life.
May was filled with memorable moments as we celebrated our students’ growth and accomplishments. Every opportunity to come together as a community to recognize these milestones is meaningful for our students and their families. I hope you enjoyed each event you were able to attend.
While summer break has arrived, our commitment to our students’ education continues. Campus and central office administrators are already hard at work planning for the 2025-2026 school year. Our dedication to preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s world does not pause with the seasons.
Have a wonderful and safe summer break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday, August 7th, for the first day of school.
Sincerely,
Darrell G. Brown, Ph.D.
