Parents - January 2025
AMI Days
I would like to send a shout-out to all our C.I.S. parents and students for the wonderful completion of AMI packets on the days we are not able to be at school. It is such an honor to have so many dedicated parents.
Attendance
We are excited to announce the 2nd quarter classes per grade with the best attendance were Miss Beasley's, Miss Lee's, and a tie with Mrs. Fitzgerald's and Ms. Pope's classes. They earned a pizza party!
Study Island's NWEA path update
We are working on getting the NWEA Winter Benchmark Data uploaded to Study Island so the NWEA path is the most up-to-date for your child's progress. Once that is finalized, when your child gets on Study Island, the path will look new again. Thank you for using this wonderful on-line tool to guide your child's success.
Reminder for Drinks in the Cafeteria
Just a quick reminder that the only drinks allowed in the cafeteria are juice and water. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Drop-off Line in the Mornings
We continue to ask that you pull forward to the flags to let your child out of the vehicle. This enables more students to unload at a time and speeds up the process. This also inhibits the line from getting backed up on Park Avenue which holds up the busses from getting into the parking lot.
Please do not use the parking lane to drop off your students as it is not a pass through lane. This is a safety issue as your child has to cross the drop off line of vehicles. Depending on the time, it is also a safety issue for any staff and their children that are exiting their vehicles in the parking lane.

February Important Dates
February 14 - Community Parternships will be in the building.
Febraury 14 - Valentine's Day Parties - CIS allows 4 adults per classroom per party. Sign-ups to attend are through PTSA which would have been completed by now.
February 17 - No School to observe President's Day
