Principals Message
Dear Families,
We are just a couple weeks a way from the end of the 2024-2025 School Year! Please remind students that while we are excited about Summer Break coming up, we still have things to do at school! All behavior expectations, dress code expectations, and classwork expectations are still in place! We want to finish the year STRONG!
We also want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, partnership, and encouragement throughout the year. It has been a joyful and productive school year, full of growth, learning, and memorable experiences for our students. We are incredibly proud of all that our students have accomplished! The end of the year brings many exciting events and celebrations!
As we look ahead to summer, we want to inform you that students in grades 3–5 who are required to attend summer school will receive a separate letter with further information. These decisions have been made based on assessment data collected throughout the school year. The goal is to provide targeted instructional support aligned with the requirements of HB 4545 and HB 1416, helping students meet their individualized learning needs through additional instructional hours.
Wishing you a wonderful end to the school year and a safe, restful summer!
Mrs. Waller

Attendance Reminder
Texas Education Code (TEC) Section 25.092, also known as the 90% rule requires students in grades K-12 attend at least 90% of class days to receive credit or a final grade. The rule applies to ALL absences including excused absences. It applies regardless of whether the student has a 504 or IEP plan. If a student falls below the 90% attendance rate, they may:
- Complete an attendance recovery plan approved by the principal to earn credit.
- Be referred to the Campus Attendance Committee.
- Have truancy filed with the county.
Students who are below the 90% mark on attendance will be required to make up missed days through attendance recovery. Letters came home the week before spring break. Please make every effort to have your students attend attendance recovery.
Attendance Incentive
Our attendance incentive for this six weeks will be an Electric Scooter!
