Career Exploration Class is looking for YOU!
Hello Manning Families and Parents,
My name is Abby DeMars, and I have had the honor of designing and teaching an elective called career exploration at Manning. One of the most fun and unique aspects of this elective is bringing in guest speakers every Thursday. After having a semester under our belt, it has been so evident that students love and look forward to the variety of speakers that visit our class on Thursdays. I am looking for a few more speakers in a variety of careers. If you would be interested in speaking in my career exploration class please send me an email!
My email is Abby.Demars@jeffco.k12.co.us
I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you 7th grade families for Loading the Lounge!
2025-26 Vice President Elect PTA Board Position | We’re looking for a Vice President-Elect to take the reins July 1. Remember elementary school PTA? This is not like that! This position is a two-year commitment, with year 1 learning the ropes and year two taking charge. Next year's duties include serving as an aide to the president - Ashley Palubinski, i.e. performing her duties if she’s absent or unable to serve; and lending a hand to ensure all the amazing things PTA accomplishes here at Manning can be accomplished. Next year the role will require about 1-3 hours a month and the following year as President, the role will require about 4-6 hours per month. If you are interested please reach out to manningmiddlepta@gmail.com. It may feel early, but we vote on board positions in April, so now is the time to inquire! Note: we have nominees for Treasurer and Secretary BUT if you are interested please reach out to manningmiddlepta@gmail.com and we’ll be sure to include you in the nomination listing (we can create special roles just for you!). Upcoming dates to remember: February 4, 11amn-8pm - Dine for Manning at Bob’s Atomic Burgers, 1310 Ford St. Golden. Just mention you’re with Manning and PTA gets 10% back. February 7, 2:15PM - PTA Board meeting, all PTA Members welcome. Manning LMC February 11, 8:30AM - PTA General Meeting - join us to review proposed bylaws, nominate next years board members, hear about PTA advocacy in forming Local, State and Federal laws that impact our kids and more.

Ralston Valley High School Band FAQ Night
We are hosting a parent information meeting on 1/22 about Band in high school. It will be at 6:30pm in the band room at RVHS. This a chance for parents to ask other parents (as well as me-Ms Watts) about just what it is really like to have a student do band in high school. Can my student do sports and band? How often does the band travel? Does my student need to audition? Why is there a cardboard cutout of Chris Pratt? These and so much more.
If you have any questions please contact Ms. Watts, kelly.watts@jeffco.k12.co.us
