A note from Mrs. Forbis
Thank you to all our parents and staff who took time out of their busy day to attend our first Home and School meeting on Monday. We appreciate our Home and School Association for supporting so many activities for our staff and students. A copy of the agenda is attached.
Our goals this year for St. Stanislaus School include reviewing and updating any necessary policies, guidelines and procedures, inspecting areas inside and outside of the school for safety, and working on signage for the inside and outside of school.
This week, I would like to recognize our teachers at St. Stanislaus. Thank you for all you do for our students and our school!

Friday: Grandparents' Day
We are excited for our upcoming Grandparents' Day this Friday!. The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end around 10:00 a.m. We will have a regular school day after Grandparents' Day is over.
Here are some details for the day so please be sure to pass on this information to those who are attending. Parking will be available in the parking lot across from school as well as behind church.
- 7:40 a.m.--Grandparents or special guests can pick up students from the gym and then head over to church.
- 8:00 a.m.--Mass
- 8:45/9:00 a.m.--Refreshments and entertainment in gym, and then students can show their grandparents around school.
- 10:00 a.m.--Students will head back to class after their grandparents leave.

Absentee/Retake Day Picture Day is:

Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day or any student that needs his/her picture retaken.
If you are having a picture taken as a RETAKE, please make sure your student returns their package in its entirety, including the package insert sheet, to the photographer on retake day.
(Feel free to attach a note to describe what you’d like us to do differently.)

Raider Runners of the Week:
Hayden Kohlmeier - For running 10 seconds faster than last year in Linn and getting his best ever place finish.
Jude Luebbering (St. Thomas) - For running a new PR by 26 seconds in Linn and improving 32 places from his last meet.
Third PAL XC meet of the season was held on 9-18-24 at the Fairgrounds in Linn on a hot afternoon.
We had 1 individual medalist, Lacey Lehmen finished in 28th place. Our top boy finisher was Oakley Sandbothe in 48th Place.
Our girls team finished in 7th place with a season best, 177 points.
Our boys team finished with a season best of 349 points.
All 12 runners on the team have raced at each the first 3 meets and are giving a great effort each meet and showing improvement.
Our next meet will be Wednesday, 9-25-24 at K of C Park in Westphalia near the soccer fields. Boys race at 4:30, Girls race at 5:00.
Blair Oaks Kids Club Wrestling Camp
Blair Oaks is putting on a wrestling camp in Oct..This is open to families in the district from PreK to 8th grade. This is an opportunity to get a better idea what youth wrestling is about and experience it. Attached is a flyer for our wrestling camp for kids.
