Parents and Students,

It was great to see and visit with so many of you during our winter conferences! We appreciate everyone braving the cold to join us! Remember if you weren’t able to attend this last week, we will have a morning session and some virtual appointments available on March 6th. More information on those opportunities in the coming weeks. Also, thanks to a great parent suggestion, we will have slide decks and videos from our informational presentations on our website next week. As a reminder, the topics were ANXIETY 101, PowerSchool, Schoology, and Google Classroom for Parents, and Understanding the STAR Report. Big thanks to those presenters!

I hope everyone enjoys the extra long weekend and we will see kids back on Wednesday next week. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Meet Ms. Lillwitz! She is the Falcon Creek librarian technician. She loves to read and research. The concepts of libraries are awesome to Ms. Lillwitz. That you can check out books for free and then return them for someone else to read is an amazing concept. Ms. Lillwitz has a degree in speech communication and a master’s in library and information science.

Ms. Lillwitz wanted to work at Falcon Creek after taking time off to raise her daughters. She enjoys the students and the staff here and would like to see students be secure in themselves, be kind to others, and, of course, always be reading. Outside of school, Ms. Lillwitz is a dance mom. She is frequently at dance competitions and watching her daughters dance.
