- Student drivers exit the front entrance of the building immediately following the bell. Student parking areas are roped off so that they can walk safely to their cars. Student drivers are given priority in exiting the parking lot first.
- Parent pick up line: All other traffic picking up students should stay in the car rider line that extends around the student parking areas. Do not attempt to cut across these lanes to bypass the car rider line. Please be mindful of students that are crossing through the line on foot to get to their vehicles.

College Information Parent Night September 18th
Our college advisor, Sofia Lee will be hosting a college information night for parents and families on Wednesday, Sept. 18th at 6pm. This is a great opportunity to get a jump start on learning about scholarships, financial aid, and how to navigate the application process. Ms Lee is eager to support our seniors and our families. Here is the slideshow/presentation she shared with our seniors last week.
Senior Portraits:
Hey Seniors,
This is your friendly reminder to sign up for senior/yearbook pictures if you have not already done so. All seniors need to be photographed by CADY studios if they would like their portrait in the yearbook. CADY will be on campus September 11, 2024 to photograph any senior who does not want to travel to Raleigh for senior portraits.
You can have these pictures taken at school on September 11, 2024. The cost is $29 for portraits taken at the school. Prices vary for in-studio portraits.
You can call CADY studios: 919.702.7031
Email CADY: customerservice@cady.com
Live chat: CADY.com
*** You must sign up to take pictures on September 11, 2024
Senior Vaccine Requirement
In accordance with NC law, within 30 days, students entering 12th grade are required to have their 2nd dose of the meningococcal vaccine. Please contact your child’s healthcare provider and make an appointment as soon as possible to receive the vaccine if you haven’t already. Vaccination documentation will be required within the first 30 days of the school year. 12th-grade students who have not provided documentation within 30 days will be excluded from school. If your child does not have a primary care provider, vaccinations may also be received at the Franklin County Health Department. The health department can be reached at 919-496-2533.

Music Teacher Nicole Craig
Let's give a shout out to our music teacher Nicole Craig for expanding our performing arts programming this year! In addition to chorus, she is offering piano class and our students are loving it! Her class is now outfitted with 10 keyboards with individual headsets that allows them to all play at different levels at the same time! In chorus she is laying a strong foundation and preparing students for future performances in collaboration with Mr. Keeler and our band! We are glad you are here Nicole!
