This summer newsletter has TONS of info.

Can't wait to see you all in August!

1. Register your kiddo(s) in Alma.
2. Send us health forms. (need a form, see below)
3. Be on the lookout for Y After School Registration.
4. Label EVERYTHING with your kiddo's name.
5. School opens at 7AM, dismissal starts at 2:45 PM with Kindergarten
6. We can not support an earlier drop off. Please do not arrive before 7 AM.
7. Breakfast and lunch are FREE for all students.
8. We still need you to fill out our Free and Reduced Lunch Form. This will go home in September.
9. Please let me know if you have accommodations you need me to implement to ensure you have access to all of our information.
10. Let us know about t-shirt sizes (form included below).

12. Bus routes are not finalized, and I will send them out as soon as they are.

We have been updating the information on the website. While some pages are still under construction, most are ready for viewing.

Below are some resources you might find helpful as summer nears its end.

Here are our school expectations for the start of school:

• For the first two weeks of school, families are welcome to bring their kiddo to their locker at 7:45, but must leave by 7:55.
• To help with an easier transition, we ask that families do not enter the classroom.

Some Ideas That Support a Goodbye:

• Quicker goodbyes are best.
• Come up with a fun routine for goodbyes (e.g., a fun handshake or a unique hug)
• Most kids are fine within 5 minutes of families leaving and our staff are wonderful at supporting this hard time.
• Remind your kiddo that they will have SO much to share with you at the end of the day.
• Send a picture of you with them to keep at their table spot.

Did you know? The state of Vermont helps cover child care costs. Starting on April 7, more families will qualify for tuition assistance based on family size and income. For example, a family of four making $124,800 a year can get help paying for programs. You can find out more about eligibility requirements online. To apply, contact your local Community Child Care Support Agency.
