Burchell March Update
FAFSA Night, After-School, and Tutoring
FAFSA Night this Thursday!
Who: Any senior who needs money for college, trade school, or school for certification
Where: Burchell High School
When: Thursday, March 17th, 6pm - 8pm
*Snacks will be provided
What you will need to bring:
1. Each student and each parent will need a unique Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID). Please click here to set up your FSA IDs or for additional information.
2. Social Security Numbers and driver's license numbers for parents and the student.
3. Records of untaxed income such as child support interest income or veteran noneducation benefits for parents and the student.
4. Information on cash, savings, and checking account balances, investments, and business and farm assets.
5. You will need the student and parent income information from the year 2020. This includes W2’s and any forms filed with the IRS. For a complete list of what is needed please click here.
Quarter 3 is Over, but Grades Can Still be Improved
Or, if a student is already signed up for an after-school class, we will schedule tutoring time for them in order to get them caught up in a timely fashion. One benefit all LEAD After-School students receive is access to tutoring, along with the support of the LEAD staff helping to monitor their grades so we can help them to stay caught up.
