PAWS Program

Before School Tutoring
Our 3rd and 4th grade students will be taking the ILEARN state assessment the weeks of April 14 and April 21. There will be NO Before School Tutoring the following days due to ILEARN:
- April 15 & 17
- April 22 & 24
We know our 3rd and 4th graders will rock this test!
Intent to Return
ALL PARENTS, please sign into Skyward and fill out the Intent to Return form for your child. This helps us plan for the upcoming school year.
Lost and Found
PLEASE have your child check the lost and found bin by the office for anything they have lost. The bin is OVERFLOWING, so please have them take a look!!
Project Lifesaver
The Dyer Fire Department is proud to introduce Project Lifesaver, a transformative program designed to assist in locating individuals who are prone to wandering due to cognitive conditions such as autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's. Project Lifesaver utilizes cutting-edge technology that allows first responders to quickly and effectively locate individuals who have wandered from safety. This program provides peace of mind to families and ensures that vulnerable members of our community are protected. If a Dyer resident is interested in learning more or determining if their loved one qualifies for enrollment, please email projectlifesaver@townofdyer.com.
3rd Annual LC Color Run
Lake Central Student Council would like to announce the third annual Color Run. This fundraiser is a chip timed 5K, held on the Lake Central High School grounds on Saturday, April 26th at 9am. This event is fun for the whole family. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome! At the end of the course there will be a DJ with a photo booth. All registered runners that cross the finish line will receive a finisher's medal and award medals for the top three finishers will be given by age group! Raffle tickets will be sold the day of for gift baskets from local businesses, the raffle will be held shortly after the last runner crosses the finish line. Winner need not be present and will be notified via email if they have already left. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to Indiana Dunes National Park in celebration of Earth Day.
Registration is now open and can be accessed through the school store on the district website or by scanning the QR code included in the poster in this message.
Online registration for guaranteed T-shirts and goody bags is open now through Sunday April 20th. Registrations received after that date will receive T-shirts and goody bags on a first come, first served basis. Same day registration will be available, but goody bags and T-shirts will not be guaranteed. This is open to the public so bring your family and friends and come out for a fun spring morning full of exercise, music, and colorful powder floating through the air! Register today!
