HAPPY MOTHERS DAY Grizzly Moms!!!!!!
We are definitely in the home stretch for our seniors (14 days left!!!).
It is an exciting and scary time for all of them! With the end of the year nearing, parents please be checking Skyward and Canvas in order to keep up with your student and their grades. Encourage great attendance until the very end please. If you have class specific questions, please reach out to the teacher for that class. They are the experts and will have the ability to answer your questions.
Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors need to finish strong as well. The end of the year is near, but there is still a lot to accomplish in the classroom.

2024-25 FAFSA updates: Colleges are being flexible!
Seniors, don’t cancel your plans! The FAFSA application process this year has been frustrating, to say the least, but colleges are being flexible and money for college or training is still available. If you haven’t submitted a financial aid application yet, don’t worry—it’s not too late! Apply as soon as you can.
Financial aid offers are starting to go out.
Some colleges have started sending out financial aid award offers to those who have applied. It’s important to remain patient, though, as the timeline will vary among colleges. Many are still working to process delayed data from the FAFSA, especially community & technical colleges.
You can now check your status & make corrections.
Log into to your StudentAid.gov account to check your application status. Due to this year’s FAFSA changes, it is especially important to confirm that your application is complete and correct. If you need to add schools to your application, add missing info, or fix an error, now is the time to do so.
Mixed status families can now finish their applications.
The U.S. Department of Education is temporarily allowing parents and guardians without a social security number to immediately complete their portion of the online 2024-25 FAFSA application. They must create a StudentAid.gov account to gain access.
Remember, in Washington, WA Grant is guaranteed to eligible students—half of families can get some money for college or career training. It’s worth it to apply for financial aid!
Continue with your plans after high school and pursue your educational goals. Be sure to submit your FAFSA or WASFA. The only way to find out if you qualify is to apply.
