Peek of the Week

MARCH 2-8, 2025
Dear St. Theresa Families,
As we go into the weekend, we ask for all STCS families to pray for Pope Francis as he condition worsened today. Join us in this prayer with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops:
O God, shepherd and ruler of all the faithful,
look favorably on your servant Francis,
whom you have set at the head of your Church as her shepherd;
grant, we pray, that by word and example
he may be of service to those over whom he presides
so that, together with the flock entrusted to his care,
he may come to everlasting life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent are next week. We invite you to join us in preparing for this special season of reflection, prayer, and renewal. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of our 40-day journey towards Easter, a time for spiritual growth through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
On March 5th, 2025, we will celebrate Ash Wednesday Mass at 8:30am, where we’ll receive ashes as a sign of repentance and humility. We encourage families to attend and reflect together on the meaning of this sacred day.
During Lent, we ask families to embrace the three pillars of the season: Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving. Together, let’s focus on growing closer to God and serving others with love and compassion.
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our STCS Gala last Friday. Your generosity, time, and dedication made the event a huge success. The funds raised will benefit our school and enhance the experiences we offer to our students. We are so grateful for your incredible support and the sense of community it brings to our school.
We look forward to walking through this Lenten journey with you and your family.
Love and Light,
Mrs. Sarah Fox
Principal

Likewise, please email as early as possible in the morning if you have a change to your child's carline pick-up or Kidventure status.
