A Note from Mr. Schmidt

Dear St. Petronille Families,

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope everyone has enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing day off of school today and I also hope it has set the stage for a nice long weekend to come!

It seems hard to believe, but we are approaching the end of trimester 2 in one week! Please use this weekend to make sure all of your child's assignments are in and all necessary work is completed before the end of the grading period. Report cards will be issued by Friday, February 28.

It is also a great time to remember that we are now less than one month away from the Key to the Future Auction on March 8! TODAY is the last day to order tickets and receive the early bird discount, so please see the announcement below for information on how to get your tickets and the discount. The auction is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and we are once again dedicating our paddle raise to raising funds to help our teacher supplementation initiatives. The sacrifices our teachers make in terms of their time, effort, and finances to work at our school are significant and I am proud that our School Board, our Advancement Committee, and our school and parish leadership have united around the cause of helping us to make St. Petronille School an attractive place for teachers to work and spend their careers! Please join us at the auction and support us in celebrating, appreciating, and rewarding the wonderful efforts of our dedicated teachers!

We're firing up the lights to start rolling on our production - which means that today is the last day to save $25 per ticket for LIGHTS, CAMERA, AUCTION! the annual St. Pets school auction on Saturday, March 8.
