Saashar Hindi Immersion Summer Camp
Saakshar brings Hindi Immersion Summer Camp at its Millburn downtown Center starting June24th till July 26th. It's best for 5-12 years old and the camp time is from 9:30am till 12:30pm.Children would be immersing in Hindi conversations, role plays, storytelling, art and craft, vocabulary builders, hands-on projects, etc. on the weekly themes. Lots of fun and enrichment would be the main takeaway from the camp. Spots are limited. Please register ASAP. This camp would be a booster for existing Saakshar's language program students! Exciting Summer Programs at SLC and Your Shout Out is Needed!
Hello Parents!
This is my 2nd newsletter to you all! I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and high spirits. As we gear up for the summer season, I am delighted to share some exciting news with you regarding the upcoming programs at Saakshar Learning Center.
At SLC, we are committed to providing a vibrant and enriching environment for our students to learn and appreciate the beauty of the Hindi language and Indian culture. This summer, we have curated engaging programs designed to further enhance your child's language skills while also fostering a deep connection with our rich cultural heritage. Please check out the two summer programs being offered - 1) Hindi Immersion Summer camp for 5 to 12 years old, and; 2) Hindi Devnagri Script Foundation Course for High Schoolers and Upper Middle Schoolers. The registration links for both the summer programs are in the above section in this newsletter. Please make use of the early bird registration discount which is valid till next week, April 30th. And, please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any question regarding the summer programs. I hope to see some of my Hindi language students in the camp. We'll immerse in Hindi storytelling and Indian board games along with doing fun art and craft and hands-on projects.
We believe that participation in these programs will not only enrich your child's summer but also contribute significantly to their overall development and appreciation for diversity.
However, to make these programs a success, we need your support. As valued members of Saakshar community, your endorsement and assistance in spreading the word about our language classes and summer programs would be immensely valuable. Your recommendations to friends, family, and colleagues who may be interested in enrolling their children would help us reach more families and create a more vibrant learning community.
Additionally, if you have any suggestions or ideas for activities or events that you believe would further enhance the learning experience for our students, please do not hesitate to share them with me. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to continually improve and expand our offerings.
Remember that drop-ins are welcome in the Saturday PreK storytelling class which is an excellent starting point of Hindi language introduction to 4 - 6 years old. Just let me know if you want your little one to try out the class. The older students class which we call Aao Khelein (AK class) and younger kid class i.e., Khel Khel Mein (KKM class) also welcome interested students to come for trial class. I strongly wish my students to tell their parents that they want to go for Hindi class than being told to do so! :)
Parents, on May 1st 2024, SLC would complete six wonderful months of serving as a nurturing environment and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your child's Hindi language learning experience. Looking forward to many many more to come!
