Concert Wrap Up & Thank You!
Thank you to the students, teachers and families that made the Fine Arts Night a huge success! I know space is limited at the elementary school but it allows us to do the extra things like cookie decorating, Santa pictures and practicing during the day. Santa pictures will be emailed to you next week.
Drake Basketball for Character Counts
We would like to invite your student to join us in attending the Character Counts Drake Girls Basketball game on December 16th. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd,4th and 6th grades will be taking buses to the Knapp Center leaving school around 9:30 and returning to school around 2:00 pm. Each student may get a school lunch to be deducted from their account, or bring their own sack lunch with them. They will also be allowed to purchase items from the concession stand with a student supervisor. If you choose to send money with your student, please know that they are responsible for that money. We look forward to enjoying a day together cheering on the Drake Bulldogs!
High School Business Department gets creative
The business department at the high school runs a small heat press business as a school project and has teamed up with the basketball program to design shirts for youth basketball. Each order helps raise money for the Colfax-Mingo basketball program and gives our business students experience in how to run a business. If you're interested in ordering please do so by Friday, December 20th using this link: https://forms.gle/ZyD4UKj8iWTyLYun8. Orders will be done the first week in January so that fans and players can wear the shirts to games during the youth basketball league that will be held in Colfax in January/February. Questions?
