The last day of school is a partial day with dismissal at 11:00 am.

5th Grade Parents/Guardians: Your Student's device is coming home May 23rd!!!

Cherry Creek School District's 1-to-1 technology program ensures our students have the tools they need to succeed in school and the skills to excel in future careers. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions webpage, https://www.cherrycreekschools.org/Page/13750, for more information about the 1-to-1 program.

5th grade students end the school year as official middle school students. In middle school, students will be expected to bring their charged computer as well as their charger to and from school each day. Students will have this computer through middle school so make sure to take care of it!

On Thursday, May 23rd, a Microsoft Surface Laptop Go and charger will be sent home with your student. The device is checked out to your student like a textbook. You will be responsible for taking care of both your computer and charger over the summer. From May 28th – August 9th, if you need a replacement, withdrawal from CCSD, or lose your computer, please contact servicedesk@cherrycreekschools.org to make an appointment and arrange for a swap. There will be no troubleshooting, just switching out equipment.

Meadow Point Elementary School

All Cherry Creek schools are in the process of having double access to get into a CCSD building. Meadow Point's vestibule was recently updated to allow this extra security layer. Here's what it means for visitors (non-staff) to our school.

Adults will ring the bell to be let into the front door. You will then need to go to the monitor and and follow the posted steps to gain entrance into the building. After scanning your ID, you will press the button above the computer to open the second set of doors. You will then be let in and should proceed to the front office to pick up your badge and sign in.

1. Currently, we are practicing and learning the best ways to manage this new system. Here's some quick pointers:

• This will take longer as we check you in. Please leave plenty of time to follow the check-in process.

• You can leave forgotten backpacks, water bottles, and lunchboxes on the table without coming into the school.

We will have more details and answers as we work through this new process. In the meantime, please be patient and thank you for doing your part to keep the students and staff at Meadow Point safe.

Don't forget to get your Rockies tickets for May 26th! The Meadow Point choir will be singing the National Anthem at the beginning of the game. Tickets are discounted for our school. You can get upper level tickets for $6 and lower level for $17. Parking pass are available for $17. Deadline for buying your tickets is May 10th.

The office is selling Skate City cards again this year. The cards sell for $5 and they can skate all summer long for $1 during regular public skating sessions.

To use the King Soopers or City Market Community Rewards Program:

*Visit www.kingsoopers.com and log into your King Soopers account. Search for Meadow Point Elementary PTCO under Community Rewards and click enroll.

*New users will need to create an account which requires some basic informaon, a valid email address and a loyalty card.

*If you do not yet have a King Soopers loyalty card, they are available at the customer service desk at any King Soopers.

REMEMBER, purchases will not count for our organizaon unless you register your loyalty card. You must swipe your registered King Soopers loyalty card or use the phone number that is related to your loyalty card when shopping for each purchase to count.
