Bobcat Innovation - June 6th, 2025 Newsletter
We have finally made it to the last week of school! We have a very fun week upcoming for the kids at Bobcat Innovation In-Person and Hybrid with Staff vs. Student Kickball, Upper School Fun Day, and Elementary Field day. Make sure kids come daily dressed appropriately for whatever weather we may have, and also bring plenty of water!
This week we had some awesome field trips happing at Bobcat Innovation! Our 5th graders took their annual overnight trip to the Toledo Zoo. 4th grade spent the day Thursday at the Capitol making their learning about government from this year come to life. Our hybrid and virtual students had the opportunity to go to the Wilderness Zoo in Frankenmuth. All the kids had a blast and learned a ton! Shout out to Mrs. Brock, Mrs. Cramer, Mrs. Stockoski, and Mrs. Johnson, as well as all the parent chaperones for making all these experiences happen for our kids.
Don't forget, our annual Moving Up Ceremony for 5th and 8th grade students is Friday, June 13th. 8th grade is at 8:30am and 5th grade is at 10:00. Families are welcome and we look forward to seeing everybody there!
Even though it is the last week of school and we have lots of fun planned, many classes are still completing end of year projects or presentations, and taking unit tests or final exams. Please make sure to continue to talk to your kids about the importance of staying focused through the end of next week and finishing the year strong.
6th-12th grade virtual students: As we prepare for the end of the school year, this is a reminder that exams are next week for high school students on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We will be following the high school exam schedule:
- Wednesday: 1st and 2nd hour
- Thursday: 3rd and 4th hour
- Friday: 5th and 6th hour
If your student does not know their class hours, please refer to their Jupiter schedule. Students should arrive for exams at approximately 7:05 AM and report directly to the West Campus Turf Room. Please note, if your student brings a phone or a smartwatch, it will be collected by the BVL teachers and returned after the exam session. Lastly, ensure your student brings their GB-issued Chromebook and that it is fully charged.
Throughout this newsletter you will find tons of fun summer opportunities for kids of all age levels. Make sure to check them out!
