MyOn Reading is in full effect here at BMS. Please make sure that students are logging in and reading via MyBackpack.

All books are on the student's Lexile level. The following report of minutes read in each grade level is as follows:

6th grade: 372 books read/ 115 hours and 54 minutes

7th grade: 192 books read/79 hours and 45 minutes

8th grade: 1 book read/ 21 minutes

Students should be logging in each day to MyOn Reading!

The goal for the district is to read 13.1 million minutes by the end of May 2020. This includes students, teachers, support faculty, parents, and community members. The minutes will be tracked by using Beanstack. The Beanstack tool can be accessed through mybackpack. Please log all of the books and resources read in your class and your minutes into Beanstack. You can include all of the minutes you read from August 12, 2019, to present.

Teachers can log their class minutes in Beanstack or students may log their own.

I have created a video that I have placed in google classroom for students. This video outlines the program, how students log in and the reading badges they can earn. The code is below.
