SENIOR PARENTS PLEASE READ!! - NEXT PLANNING MEETING TBD
Parents should follow the Proctor rails class of 2025 Facebook page for updates on all night grad party meetings, fundraising and other important senior information. There is a poll open now to help set the date for the next planning meeting. We want to choose the date and time that works for the greatest number of parents to attend.
LAST MEETING NOTES:
- This all night grad party will not happen on its own. We have roughly 25 parents out of 118 seniors who are volunteering their time in one way or another to help plan this event. This is not enough help. And it doesn’t just happen on June 1st.
- It costs in excess of $250 per student to hold this event. We are at a crucial point where we need to make sure that we are doing all that we can to fundraise and solicit donations from businesses and organizations in our area.
- PLEASE continue to sell car wash cards. More will be available by the weekend. Stephanie Becker is the contact person for these. 218-341-3106
- Grocery bagging will take place at Mall area Super January 3-4-5. There will be a sign up genius coming soon to sign up. We must have two adults present during this time, and no more than six students at each time slot. We really need our class of 2025 families and students to participate in this fundraiser. Students who participate will be eligible for certain specific cash or larger prizes at the all night grad party, if they have volunteered at these grocery bagging events.
- There will also be a Amsoil arena volunteer event. Organizations are able to volunteer their time at concession stands at Amsoil, and in return receive a donation/proceed. Date TBD.
- Students who participate will be eligible for certain specific cash or larger prizes at the all night grad party.
- We are looking into hosting a father daughter dance in spring. More details to follow once we discuss worh our elementary school PIE organizations.
- There is an amazon shopping list available to shop and donate items for the event. Please see the link previously posted this week if you are interested in sharing this with family or on your personal pages.
- There will be an opportunity to purchase proctor rails themed blankets in the near future as a fundraiser as well. Look for a link and information soon.

PICK UP AND DROP OFF LOCATION AT PROCTOR HIGH SCHOOL - 3RD STREET - RED LOT WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE FOR AFTER SCHOOL PICKUP
Parents who are dropping students off in the morning or who are picking students up in the afternoon should do so on 3rd street on the north side of the school just outside the middle school entrance. With buses dropping students off in the morning and picking students up in the afternoon, we need the Ugstad Road Circle area clear. Cars parked in the Ugstad Circle area outside of the main high school entrance between 7:30-8:00am and 2:30-3:00pm will be issued a citation from the Proctor Police Department. Thank you for your help with keeping the bus area free from congestion and safer for our students.
THE BOXCAR IS NO LONGER TAKING DONATIONS
