Early Dismissal

March (Feb 28th) is an Early Release Day. We dismiss at 11:15 am. Please make sure your child knows how he/she will go home. If it is different than normal, please write a note to his/her teacher. Our teachers will be participating in Professional Development shortly after dismissal so we appreciate you picking up your child no later than 11:30 am.

Attendance Matters

Every week we select 1 student from each grade level for our WEEKLY ATTENDANCE WINNER! For students to be eligible, they must be at school every day and on time (NO TARDIES)! Students are considered tardy if they are not in their classroom seat at 7:45am.

CiCi's PIZZA SPIRIT NIGHT

Thank you to all the families that came out to our 1st ever CiCi's Spirit Night! We had a great turnout and look forward to more families coming out on APRIL 2nd!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: CiCi's Pizza Spirit Night = APRIL 2nd 4:30-7:30

CONGRATULATIONS TO MRS. CARTLEDGE'S 4TH GRADE CLASS!

They had the highest number of participants attending spirit night and won a pizza party for their entire class. Way to go!!!

Parents of 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders, please note the days for SC READY which is our statewide test. Please mark these on your calendar. Please do not schedule any appointments for your child for these days.

Writing--Wednesday, April 30

Reading Day 1--Wednesday, May 7

Reading Day 2--Thursday, May 8

Math--Tuesday, May 13

Science (4th Grade Only)--Thursday, May 15

MAP TESTING

When driving through our school neighborhood, please make sure to drive slowly. We want to ensure that everyone is SAFE!

WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY - ROCK YOUR SOCKS - MARCH 21st

You're invited to join us for "Rock Your Socks Day," which coincides with World Down Syndrome Day. Celebrated on March 21st.

This day encourages people to wear mismatched or brightly colored socks to raise awareness and celebrate those with Down syndrome. The 21st day of the 3rd month signifies the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down syndrome.

Community Sponsor NEEDED!

We are looking for Community Sponsors (businesses, groups, individuals, churches, etc) to help celebrate our teachers. We would like to have a partner sponsor a teacher celebration each month. If you would like to sponsor a celebration, please complete the link below.
