Tech Tip Tuesday (December 6, 2022)

More than just presenting at the front of the class!💡
I've used Slides, but what else can they do?
Slides are known as the Swiss Army Knife of the classroom.
Near to any instructional task can be completed with Slides, and it's a blank canvas for what you want to create or what your students want to achieve.
Picture books, maps, infographics, stop motion...the sky is the limit!
🎩Tips and tricks that you might not know!💁♂️
Hide Filmstrip and Speaker Notes for a bigger canvas!
Need more space for yourself or students to edit?
You can hide the filmstrip and speaker notes to make the editable space even bigger for moving and editing!
Click View on the Toolbar and slide (hehe) down to Show speaker notes/Show filmstrip, and you can uncheck them.
See how much more space you'll have then!
Crop Images into Shapes
Not only can you crop images to take out certain parts, but you can also make them into shapes!
Upload your image or copy & paste your picture into your slide.
Double click the image to crop the photo.
From there, edit any image into a shape (my favorite is the circle or star!).
