In this course, participants will learn to design and deliver an online course using Canvas. This course will guide participants in creating their own course using best practices to set up a visual home page, add engaging content, assess student learning, and communicate effectively using Canvas. The focus of this course is to learn about pedagogical practices with online course design by using the features within Canvas to create a course that will benefit both the teacher and students.
This course, along with many others, can be started and finished at any time during the 2024 calendar year.
UEN invites school leaders to participate in this unique professional learning summit free of charge. Participants will be guided alongside their peers through a design-thinking process to work on self-selected problems of practice across three days.This year, the Leading Schools Summit will take place in the Zions Bankcorporations Technology Center and Lucid Software in the Salt Lake City area on June 18-20, 2024.

EdcampCUT - April 27th at Red Hills Middle School
Professional educators from all over the State of Utah will gather at the Utah Rural Schools Association Annual Conference at Richfield High School in Richfield, Utah from July 15-17, 2024. This is a conference for dialogue, learning, and exploration of topics critical to districts, schools, and individuals dedicated to the education, development, and growth of students in Utah’s rural communities.
Presenter applications will be accepted from January 22, 2024 through March 31, 2024. Presenters will be notified via email of their selection status by Friday, April 12, 2024. Lead presenters will receive free registration for the entire three day conference.
