Prayer Ministry

Do you have a heart for prayer? We're looking for someone to take on the role of monitoring the ORLC Prayer Chain. You may have seen in recent months that the new format is simply forwarding prayer requests via email, so if you know how to copy and paste...you'd be perfect! Talk to Pastor James if interested.

Altar Guild Meeting

Do you serve on the Altar Guild? Want to? Join us for a quick meeting after worship on October 13th (11:15 am) with Pastor James to talk basics, and answer any lingering questions you may have as you serve our congregation!

CPR Training:

Monday and Tuesday, October 28 & 29 from 6:00-8:30 pm. This will be a Friends and Family class which includes training but no card and covers: adult, child, and infant CPR, rescue breathing, and choking. Cost of the class is $3. If you would like a card or a book, there will be an additional cost. Please sign up in the Connection Corner and indicate if a card is needed. You are welcome to bring a pad or towel for kneeling on and wear comfortable clothing and shoes for moving around. Please eat dinner before you come! Middle and High School students are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you have questions or would like more information, contact Sally Coburn at parishnurse@orlc-ak.org or (907) 240-2801.

Music Lessons

Suzette Scialfa has been teaching piano and organ lessons this year here at ORLC on Saturday afternoons for a very reasonable price. If you or your child would like lessons, give her a call: 907-864-0866.

Digital Directory

Check out ORLC's digital directory as a way to easily update and share your information with us, learn some new faces, find contact info, and more. It's an "opt-in" setting, so nothing will be shared without your approval. Then, you can download the "Church Center" app on your phone to always have access to the directory, calendar, and group info at ORLC!

Helping Hand
