Dear Parents, Guardians and Students
Homecoming 2024, here we come! This is arguably the most jam-packed week that I've seen in my 17 years in the District. Not only do we have all of our traditional Homecoming activities, but we have multiple sports at home, two concerts, a Hall of Fame Induction and Alumni gatherings! There are SO MANY ways for students to engage in the school this week and I hope they jump right in. Our Blue Crew has done a remarkable job making our dress up days and daily activities accessible to as many students as possible so please encourage max participation! Thank you, in advance, to all of the staff and parents/guardians who have or will contribute to making this week a memorable one for our students. It takes a village to make a week like this possible and we are so appreciative!
Please consider these pro tips for the week:
- Check that students have their ID. They will not be allowed in the dance without it.
- Be sure that students actually bought a ticket to the dance. It's possible they thought of every detail except the ticket. We do not sell tickets at the door.
- Label all blue and black sport coats before the dance!
- If high heels are being worn to the dance, send sneakers or you will be dropping them off:)
- If you want to see the most amazing group (themed) costumes ever, watch the parade go by. Ardmore is likely best for parents, between 3:00 and 3:10. You could also drive by the front of school about 8:00 am.
- If your student purchases a ticket to the dance and decides not to come and/or gets sick, please email me or Mr. Drew directly. We call all families if their student does not show up and this save us some time.
- Check that students have their ID.....did I say that already?
Kind regards,
Amy Levek

Football Game Protocols
Over the past few weeks, we have observed a growing concern with students, particularly elementary and middle school students, leaving the stadium area before the game ends and gathering in unsupervised areas on school property, such as the softball field. As a result, we need to make some changes to our football game protocols. Please see the attached letter for more information.
Upcoming School Board Meetings
The community is welcome to attend School Board meetings to gain a better understanding of School District business and the role of the School Board. The public is also invited to address the Board during the public comment portion as indicated in Board meetings. Meeting agendas are posted within BoardDocs two days preceding each meeting.
