Conscious Discipline Parent Nights: School to Heart to Home
The parenting series will entail 8 sessions across Winter/Spring 2022 and Fall 2022.
Parent nights will be held via Zoom from 6:00-7:00 pm on the following dates:
- Thursday, February 10 ~ Brain States: A new way of understanding yourself and your children.
- Thursday, March 10 ~ Composure: Being the Person You Want Children to Become
- Thursday, April 7 ~ Assertiveness: Setting Limits Respectfully
- Thursday, May 5 ~ Encouragement: Noticing, Accepting, and Connecting with Children
- possible session in June, depending on feedback.
The remaining sessions will be provided in Fall 2022.
Childcare via zoom is available for those who could benefit from entertainment for their children during the parent night sessions (childcare zoom link will be provided upon registration)

Parent Wellness Rooms
Lines for Life Educator Wellness and new Parent Wellness Rooms
Lines for Life, through its Helpers Helping Helpers programming, has launched a variety of “wellness room” spaces on Zoom for folks to attend freely and seek support, share resources, and overall sit together in community during the pandemic. This is a statewide and FREE resource that is meant to support – please do not hesitate to spread the word! Some Wellness Rooms are also available in Spanish.
Parents Wellness Room: Tuesdays at 3 pm.
Parent Wellness Room: Thursdays at 3 pm.
Triple P~ Positive Parenting Program
Triple P~Positive Parenting Program knows all parents have different needs, so are providing different ways for you to get parenting help. Triple P is available in a group format and individual family unit format.
Primary Care Triple P provided about 4 sessions with just your family and a Triple P provider (from Oregon Family Support Network or Reach Out Oregon).
Primary Care Triple P is offered through Oregon Family Support Network and ReachOut Oregon. For more information and/or to register, please see the linked PDFs below in English and Spanish.
Triple P ~ Online or In-Person parent groups are designed for parents of children ages 2-12.
With Triple P, they don't tell you how to parent; it gives you strategies to adapt to your unique situation. Information is delivered in video format with activities that customize the program to your family.
Triple P focuses on:
- creating a safe, interesting environment
- having a positive learning environment
- using assertive discipline
- having realistic expectations
- taking care of yourself as a parent

Family Check Up
- increases parenting skills
- encourages positive behaviors and sets limits
- improves how you work with your child's emotions
- sets parenting goals

KEEP program for foster and kinship parents
KEEP promotes the idea that foster and kinship parents can serve as key agents of change for children by strengthening their confidence and skills so they can change their child’s behaviors, teaching effective parent management strategies, and providing them with support.
Keep groups are designed to be flexible and fun, include 16-weeks of 90-minute sessions, get paid $25 weekly for attending, and receive up to 24 training hours.

Kinship Navigator
Oregon Kinship Navigator is a program to support grandparents raising grandchildren and other relative caregivers. The program provides parenting groups (get $ to attend), legal support, access to services, and financial assistance. See their website for more information:
