Important Reminder regarding Cell Phones
We kindly ask parents to ensure that students are not using personal devices to contact them directly if they are not feeling well while at school. We have established guidelines regarding when students should be sent home, and it is important for the office to manage this process to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
If your child contacts you directly without the office notifying you, please reach out to us for clarification. Additionally, if your child is not feeling well in the morning before school, we ask that you please keep them home rather than directing them to visit the health office.

Service Project Club is proud to sponsor Kindness-Grams! As part of a global celebration of Kindness during the month of February, we will have free kindness grams available from 8:00-8:20 before school next week (February 10th-13th). Students and families are welcome to come write a kind note for their, classmates, siblings, parents, teachers and other staff members. SPC will also have pencils, erasers and stickers available to add on to each kindness gram for ¢0.50 each. This add on is optional. Funds raised will go to the fire relief funds in LA and the flood/ hurricane relief funds in North Carolina!
The spring conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, February 11th, Wednesday, February 12th, and Thursday, February 13th.
Longmont Estates Elementary will continue to use the online conference scheduler called Meet the Teacher. On Tuesday, January 21st you should have received an email from Infinite Campus. Please make sure this message ddid not end up in your spam folder! This email will contain all of the information you will need to sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences
Appointments can be made starting Tuesday, January 21st at 7:00am and ending on Friday, February 7th at 7:00pm. Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact the school office. Please visit https://longmontestates.meettheteacher.com to book your appointments.
If you do not have access to the internet, please contact us and we will be happy to add appointments on your behalf.

Adolescent RISE with Nicholas Thompson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Adolescent RISE is a presentation that takes a fun and informative look at the developmental period of adolescence (ages 10-25). It includes debunking myths about adolescence, understanding the four qualities of adolescence (risk taking, identity formation, social reorientation, and emotional intensity), and learning about the tweenage brain. With this foundation established, ways to better support our kids will be discussed.
