Communication Update
1. Office Hours & Intermittent Closure - Teacher Daily Schedule
August 19-21 or at the point you have made contact with most of your students at least once
Teachers should be hosting a ZOOM session during every class period on your daily schedule. You are not expected to ZOOM during your prep period, PLC, or duty-free 30 minute lunch. However, during other contract hours the first week, please have your Zoom open and ready to receive and guide students.
August 24
Once things settle after the start of the school year, (probably starting August 24th), teachers will begin to follow the Intermittent Closure - Teacher Daily Schedule. (See attached .pdf below.)
Please note that this document is a work in progress and will likely need tweaking. We just wanted to provide you with an idea of what your daily schedule is going to look like while in a period of Intermittent Closure.
2. LV Faculty ZOOM Links
Keeping communication pathways for students and parents easy to find and access is the name of the game. Please use the fewest number of ZOOM links possible to eliminate confusion for your students.
Please include your ZOOM link in your Schoology contact info, your teacher site contact info, and your google classroom (as applicable).

5. Teacher Site Training Offered August 18
Mrs. Hood and Ms. Ochoa will work with teachers who need help navigating and updating their site.
6. Attendance/Schoology Analytics
From what we understand to be true at this point, you will run an Analytic report in each of your sections in Schoology and use the information on that report to input attendance in TAC.
Once the two platforms become more integrated/compatible, the hope is that this will no longer be necessary. Fingers crossed.
What this looks like
If a student logged in on Day One prior to noon, their name will show on the Analytics "logged in" report. Using this report, go to TAC and mark that student present for Day One.
Days Two-??, use the span of time beginning Noon Day One - Noon Day Two to determine present status for Day Two.
Please have attendance entered into TAC by the end of each school day. This daily deadline may change as we come to know more about what is expected.
