JCHS Blood Drive in the competition gym area
16 years or older, ALL 16 yr olds MUST have a parental signature
MUST provide valid picture ID
Wednesday, October 20th- Pre Act Testing for ALL 9th and 10th graders
E-Learning Day for ALL 11th and 12th graders
**Students will be released once ALL testing is complete. Parents who are picking up students will need to park and wait in the auditorium parking lot. Bus transportation is provided and run their regular routes. Lunch is provided.
REFLECTIONS DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED!!!

College Application Week
Alabama College Application Week is next week! If you are planning on applying to college, there will be over 50 colleges and universities that will be waiving their application fees to make the journey easier. You can find the colleges that are participating here: Final College/University Fee Waiver List
As your student applies to college, be reminded that the FAFSA serves as the largest source of financial aid for post-secondary education. With each college applied to, he/she can find the intended schools’ FAFSA code using the Federal School Code Search. Having these codes in one place will save your student time when completing the FAFSA. Make sure to check each institution's FAFSA priority deadline, so your student receives as much financial aid as possible.

Biomedical Science Europe Trip, Summer 2023 VIRTUAL meeting- Oct. 26th, 6:00 PM
Your student is invited to join us on a once-in-a-lifetime international travel experience with their peers to England, Scotland & France in Summer 2023! Our trip will feature a biomedical and health science focused itinerary, with project-based learning and hands-on activities.

"Holiday Gourmet Meats Fundraisers!!"
The James Clemens FCCLA and BSU are selling gourmet holiday meats and desserts. You have the opportunity to purchase pre-seasoned/cooked turkeys, hams, desserts and other delectables that will arrive right on time for the holiday season! The sale ends on October 27th and pickup will be one day the week of November 15th.
