Dear Rocket Families,
Thank you so much for the overwhelming support of our Thanksgiving Luncheon. I again apologize that many of you had to wait for an unexpected length of time. Please know how grateful I was/am for your patience and understanding and know that we will have additional supports in place next year. I want to give a huge shout-out to our Rocket School Nutrition Staff for a DELICIOUS meal!!!!
We have a VERY exciting week ahead with our FALL BOOK FAIR and our FALL FAMILY ENGAGEMENT NIGHT!!! Students will have all week to preview and shop the Book Fair. We also invite YOU to visit the book fair during our FALL FAMILY ENGAGEMENT NIGHT this TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19 from 4:30-6:30 PM. This is a drop in event where you can visit classrooms and the book fair!
In addition, we have TWO VERY IMPORTANT ITEMS for this week so PLEASE READ and REVIEW CAREFULLY
- We have just THREE WEEKS left in our 50/50 Raffle. Currently our pot is just $4200. We are trying to reach our school goal of $15,000. This is our MAIN FUNDRAISER for this year!!! We are hopeful that all students - Pre-K - 5th grade will attempt to sell FIVE tickets!!! Students who have not asked for tickets will be given 5 to sell if possible. If you wish for your child to not participate just send the tickets back with a note! PLEASE help us sale tickets and see student prizes below!!!
- We will begin celebrating the winter holidays as soon as we return from Thanksgiving Break!!! Our first celebration day will be TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3. We will have our POLAR EXPRESS DAY where students will have a chance to ride the Little Blue Choo Train for a cost of $2, have hot chocolate, AND visit with SANTA! You may begin sending in payments this week. If you'd like to sponsor another student we'd be most grateful!!!
Finally, next week will be a short week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Students and staff will only report to RES on Monday and Tuesday!
