Calendar 📆
MicroSociety 🏫
Saints' City Success!
Citizens of Saints' City have been working diligently at their ventures (stores like RME Jewelry or GOAT Shop) or agencies (like Peace Keepers and bank). They have earned paychecks for their work, and determined how much they would save or spend after paying taxes. This week the BLUE crew had the opportunity to shop while YELLOW ran the ventures.
This week's learning was enhanced thanks to the mentors that have stepped up to help! CEOs and managers met with Saints family member (and former teacher) realtor and entrepreneur Shawn Allison of Team Shillington. Mr. Allison's presentation focused on the importance of branding and digital advertising. Students also gained knowledge and suggestions from Milt and Allan, who travel from the south to help our MicroSociety every step of the way!
We continue to quest for additional mentors within the community, as well as seek financial support for our endeavors. Interested in helping our program grow? Contact the office today!
