Principal's Post
We had a short but good week! We hope everyone is safe and well after the storm last week. Just a reminder that the grading period ends on October 10th, so please ensure all missing assignments are submitted. Benchmark testing will take place next week, and there will be no school on Friday, October 11th, or Monday, October 14th.
Congratulations to our eighth-grade volleyball team for their victory against CHMS! Unfortunately, our football team fell to Clover, but we’re proud of their efforts.
Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable weekend. We’ll see you next week!

Raider Football
The Raiders played host to the Clover Eagles and lost a tough battle 21-6. The Raiders only score came from a touchdown by Landon Williams on a pass from Dash Holley. The 2 point conversion was no good.
The defensive highlights were Kaydin Peoples with 5 tackles, Dash Holley had 6 tackles and 1 interception, and Jayden Joseph had 3 tackles and 1 sack.
The Raiders played a very physical team in the Clover Eagles. The score doesn’t show it but, the game was close. The Raiders had 2 busted plays that resulted in touchdowns for the Eagles. The Raiders continued to scrap and compete until the final seconds ticked off the clock.
The Raiders are on a bye week next week and host Saluda Trail here at the RRMS Ship on Wednesday, October 16. Make plans to come out and support the RAIDERS!
Raider Volleyball
In an exhilarating match that showcased teamwork and resilience, the 8th-grade girls volleyball team triumphed over Castle Heights with scores of 25-16 and 25-22. The girls faced a tough second set, trailing by six points before rallying together to secure the win. Claudia Cain led the service game with 10 service points, while Khloe Duncan and Kaleigh Lefler each contributed 9 points. Kaleigh Lefler earned the title of Offensive MVP for her relentless hustle, smart plays at the net, and unwavering support for her teammates. Blakeley Payne shone as the Defensive MVP, making crucial digs that kept the ball in play and energized the team. This victory not only reflects their skill but also their spirit, proving they can overcome any challenge on the court! Great job girls!🎉🏐
