FEEL GOOD STORY
We found some unaired footage from last school year of two awesome students who stepped into their teacher’s shoes for a day and taught their classmates! From volcanoes to poetry, the students had lots of fun teaching their friends, but they also realized how much work and time goes into making a lesson!

LATEST PROGRESS:
Fall 2023
Capital projects, renovations, and expansions continue throughout District 25. Four of our seven elementary schools have broken ground for expansion work. These schools are Olive Mary-Sttit Elementary, Dryden Elementary, Patton Elementary, and Westgate Elementary. Windsor Elementary and Greenbrier Elementary will see expansion work begin this school year.
Overall, our District will be adding 25 new classrooms to house a District-wide Full-Day-Kindergarten program. Olive Mary-Sitt is adding 4 new classrooms, Dryden is adding 4, Greenbrier is adding 2, Patton is adding 3, Westgate is adding 10, and Windsor is adding 2. Additionally, Dryden and Patton are expanding their gyms, and Westgate is building a new gym.
For the full timeline of events, visit the Build25 page: www.sd25.org/Build25.
Dryden Place Harvest Fest
We celebrated the start of fall with food, music, friendship, and community at the Dryden Place Harvest Fest. It was an unbeLEAFably good time!
The Dryden Place Garden inspires and fosters community, and we certainly saw our community come together last night as local organizations and other volunteers helped out and supported the event. The community garden also looks abundant and amazing, with a bunch of beautiful produce and sunflowers that are at least ten feet tall!

Bike Rodeo | Olive Mary-Stitt Elementary
Olive Mary-Stitt Elementary held their annual Bike Rodeo, and it was WHEELIE fun!
The Bike Rodeo is a safety-training session for 3rd-5th graders who want to ride their bikes to school. During the rodeo, they learn and demonstrate proper biking etiquette, like hand signals, braking, and navigating narrow spaces. Officers from @arlingtonheightspd even helped out by running helmet checks!
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped put on the rodeo and made it such a success!
