Counselors met with students to complete course registration for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

1. Counselors were busy working with students to register for their classes for the 2025-26 school year throughout February. We are hopeful you had an opportunity to discuss course selection options with your students.

• January 29th, during Advisory, our 9th, 10th, and 11th graders received the course registration information and presentation.
• Teachers recommended courses for students in PowerSchool.
• February 5th and 6th, counselors worked with 9th, 10th, & 11th graders to verify course choices during their Science class.

5. Students and parents will have an opportunity to review course requests prior to the end of the school year.

• • Grandview Juniors will be taking the state mandated (free) SAT on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Grandview High School.

  • 10th graders will be taking the PSAT10 on the April 16th testing day.
  • 9th graders will be taking the PSAT9 on April 17th. CMAS for 11th graders is the same day.

• Wolf Scholarship: The Grandview faculty and staff will award one $1500.00 scholarship to a graduating Grandview senior who has chosen to pursue a career in the field of education. One thousand dollars will be given directly to the college/university of attendance. The remaining five hundred dollars will be given to the Wolf Scholarship winner at the beginning of the semester the recipient begins his/her student teaching. • Naviance (tile can be found on your my.cherrycreek login) is a great tool to find various scholarships. Click on Colleges > Scholarships and Money. We also post scholarships weekly to students through Schoology - Senior Seminar.

• Seniors should be visiting the Financial Aid & Scholarship pages at each college/university you have applied to. This will continue to be the best place to find financial aid and scholarship resources and information.

• Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated Scholarship - African American Female Students eligible. See the flyer below for more information.

• The Rocky Mountain Relocation Council sponsors an annual scholarship program for current high school seniors who have relocated to the Denver area during grades 9 through 12. The one-time award of $1,500 for each scholarship will be presented to two (2) well-deserving seniors. The award will be sent to the college (2-year or 4-year) or university that the scholarship winner will be attending in 2024 to assist with tuition and other applicable expenses. This year the winner will also receive a bonus match from Worldwide ERC®, the premiere association for global mobility. The portal closes on March 22, 2025.

Transcript Deadlines: Transcript request forms MUST be submitted to Ms. Wilson in the Post Grad Center no later than 10 school days prior to the College/University deadline.

Mid-Year Transcript Requests: Mid-year transcripts include 1st semester Senior grades. To request a mid-year transcript, students will need to complete a Mid-Year Transcript Request Form (these are available NOW and can be found in the Post Grad Center) and submit to Ms. Wilson in Post Grad.
