Note from Mr. Rustad: What a Great Year!
Kennedy Families,
The end of the school year is almost here! How can it be? June 3rd will be here before we know it!
There are so many great things to reflect on after this school year. Our students have experienced incredible growth academically and socially. Over the past eight months, our Kennedy Cubs have learned to work through adversity, enjoy successes, and support their classmates. They have shown Kennedy B.E.S.T. all throughout the year. At times they have struggled and at other times they have shown maturity and resiliency beyond their years.
I am so proud of each and every Kennedy Cub. Each Cub plays a significant role in making us a great school. Whether they are a 5th grader that has been here since day one of kindergarten or a brand new Cub that joined us late in this school year, each student makes our community unique and amazing. They will all be missed over summer vacation!
Additionally, I cannot say enough great things about the Kennedy staff. Parents, you probably already know this but it is important to say again. Your students are getting a tremendous education everyday because of the dedication, belief, and love that Kennedy staff have for all students. The staff here truly believes in the "T" of Kennedy B.E.S.T. They believe that we are our BEST when we are TOGETHER. Together as a class, together as a staff, and together in partnership with all families. TOGETHER WE ARE KENNEDY !
The 2022-23 school year will bring some changes to our grade level teacher assignments. Listed below is the updated list of teachers for each grade level for the 22-23 school year.
- Kindergarten: Mrs. Lout, Mrs. McConkey, and Mrs. Brown (new to Kennedy from Franklin)
- First Grade: Mrs. Hanson, Mrs. Brennan, and Mr. Wischnack
- Second Grade: Mrs. Imhoff, Mrs. Veroeven, and Mrs. Wiste
- Third Grade: Mrs. Harper, Mr. Meyer, and Mrs. Ward
- Fourth Grade: Mrs. Schulz and Mr. Winning
- Fifth Grade: Ms. Kelly and Mrs. Uhrich
I encourage all families to enjoy a relaxing and great summer. The next amazing school year at Kennedy will be here before you know it!
