Congratulations 5th Graders!
It's hard to believe that a whole year has passed already. I'm so proud of our fifth graders and will miss each of them as we send them off to middle school next year. I can't wait to follow their success. I have no doubt that each one of them will make us proud that they are Kittredge graduates!
It has been my absolute pleasure to serve as the principal of Kittredge this year. I have felt so welcomed and I am incredibly proud of the work we've done. The students and staff here are like no other school.

Staffing Changes for 2024-2025
As the year comes to an end, we have a few staffing changes for next year.
Who's Moving:
Mrs. Bartels: Mrs. Bartels will be moving to 2nd grade next year.
Ms. Cory: The district will be hiring a single paraprofessional to cover library at all three elementary schools. Ms. Cory will be staying with us though as a para, just not in the library.
Who's Leaving:
Mrs. Trova: Mrs. Trova stepped in as a substitute in second grade and was willing to finish out the year with us. Thank you for sticking with us!
Mrs. Verge: After many years at Kittredge, Mrs. Verge will be moving to Becket-Washington next year as the preschool teacher. We wish her all the best!
Mrs. Grallert: Our dedicated preschool teacher has taken a job closer to her daughters and while we will miss her, we are thrilled that she'll be close to family.
Ms. McClure: Better known as Ms. Tori, the RBT position was eliminated as part of next year's budget. Thank you for all that you've done for Kittredge!
Mrs. Whitney: Next year's budget includes only one Title I tutor. Mrs. Whitney has decided to become a substitute teacher for the district. Mrs. Kilmer will be staying on and we are so thankful for all of the hard work Mrs. Whitney has done to support students in class.
Who's Joining:
Ms. Wendling: We are excited to welcome Madelyn Wendling to 5th grade. She is a Kittredge graduate and we are thrilled that she'll be joining us after a year in North Adams.
Mrs. Chandler: Currently the 1st grade teacher at Becket-Washington, Mrs. Chandler will be joining Kittredge to fill our second 1st grade spot next year.
Mrs. Seyerlein: Yes, I know, she's already here. But starting next year, she will be at Kittredge full time!

The Eagles Stage Band will perform in the afternoon, and several local non-profits will be on hand to offer information about their organizations.
This program is supported in part by grants from the Becket, Hinsdale-Peru and Washington Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Mass. Cultural Council, a state agency.
