Los Angeles County Commision for Women 2025 Resilience Scholarship
The Resilience Scholarship is a source of financial support and motivational resource for women within Los Angeles County wishing to pursue a college degree or post-secondary certification program. The scholarship seeks to support women and girls whose resilience and determination have overcome considerable hardship. As such, our scholarship funds can subsidize incidentals above and beyond allowable expenses covered by federal and state financial aid.
The Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong Undergraduate Scholarship Program in Southern California
To qualify for The Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong Undergraduate Scholarship Program in Southern California, applicants must be Vietnamese American (US citizens or US Permanent Resident),and must enroll in the University of California LA (UCLA), University of California Irvine (UCI), Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Fullerton and Cal Poly Pomona.

TMCF- MCDONALD'S BLACK AND POSITIVELY GOLDEN SCHOLARSHIP

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and McDonald’s are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Sixty-Three (63) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship up to $15,000 for the 2025-2026 academic school year ($7,500 per semester), which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.
National STEM Excellence Scholarship Program

Eric & Christine Alegria Public Service Scholarship
Application Deadline: May 7, 2025, by 11:59 pm PST
$2,500 toward their college tuition for the 2025-2026 school year
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must:
- Be a current senior and graduate from a public high school in Los Angeles County by June 2025
- Have a 3.5 grade point average or higher (cumulative unweighted)
- Attend a 2- or 4-year university in 2025-2026
- Plan to pursue degrees or careers in fields such as government, public administration, and public policy.
- Have a demonstrated financial need
Review It Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded to the best Movie Review submitted by a student before the scholarship deadline. To be considered eligible for the “Review It” Scholarship you must: A) Be attending college or university. B) Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year. C) Be attending or planning to attend a school in the US. D) Submit your Movie Review no later than 11:59 PM EST on the day of the deadline. *Note that you can be enrolled in any field of study. The scholarship winner will be announced roughly six weeks after the deadline and will be posted on our website immediately after. No late applications will be reviewed.

CA Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation Scholarship Program

The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) is pleased to invite all qualified California residents to apply for a scholarship. This scholarship program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses.
AJ Wang Scholarship
For graduating high school senior from an accredited high school with the goal to attend a community college and earn a degree or certification, and/or meet transfer requirements.
Ortho Dermatologist ASPIRE HIGHER Scholarship

BigSun Scholarship
Amount: $500
The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute.

Scholarships for African American Students
For more than three decades the CBCF in partnership with CBC Spouses has awarded scholarships to talented and deserving students. Each year, we award more than 300 scholarships to students that demonstrate leadership ability through exemplary community service and academic talent. The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of students who aspire to attend college but to guide them through the process of higher education.

The Development Fund for Black Students in Science and Technology (DFBSST) is an endowment fund which provides scholarships to African-American undergraduate students who enroll in scientific or technical fields of study at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Students applying to African-American grants for education must be African-American. Federal education grants are typically awarded based on the applicant's financial needs, as determined initially by the FAFSA. State and privately funded African-American grants may have separate or additional requirements based on the applicant's place of residence, level of academic achievement, or planned course of study.
The Ron Brown Scholarship honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans. RBSP competitively awards 20 four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth.
