The creative T-shirt activity to celebrate the 100th day of school at Horizon Leadership Academy has been a wonderful success. Our students' ingenuity shone brightly as they paraded their custom-decorated T-shirts, each adorned with a diverse mix of 100 items. This celebration of creativity and self-expression was a highlight of our school year, and the memories of the parade will be cherished. It was a delight to witness the variety of designs, each reflecting the unique personality and artistic choices of our students. Our students recently participated in the First LEGO League (FLL), marking an extraordinary blend of learning and fun. The 8th and 9th graders of Horizon Leadership Academy recently embarked on an enriching field trip to the Rice University, one of the nation's foremost institutions of higher education. Our students had the opportunity to explore the sprawling campus, engage with distinguished faculty, and get a firsthand glimpse of college life. This immersive experience provided them with valuable insights into the possibilities that higher education holds for their future. The trip to Rice University was not only educational but also incredibly inspiring, sparking dreams and aspirations in the hearts of our students. It was a day of discovery and learning that will surely leave a lasting impression as they continue on their academic journey.
