The Patton Post

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Friday, February 23rd
The weather certainly helped make our week at Patton fly by this week! It was so wonderful to come back after a long weekend to the sun and outdoor recess every day! I know our Panthers certainly enjoyed their recess time this week!
We were treated to an OAR-some performance of "PIRATES!" by our 4th graders on Thursday! It was so much fun and Mr Whitaker, as always, brought out the best in our Panthers! I hope those of you that were able to attend enjoyed it as much as I did!
Thank you to all the community members that came to present to our 4th and 5th Graders today about "Math in the Real World" - we had such a great variety of speakers, from swimming pool designers to video game engineers, road traffic accident investigators to nutritionists and more. It's always such a super interesting and informative morning for our students and fascinating for them to see all the different (and fun!) ways Math can be used in the "real" world.
I hope you have a lovely weekend! Despite the lovely weather we've had this week, it looks to be a chilly weekend so please stay warm!

To achieve this, the department has had seasonal menus this school year. All elementary and middle schools will have a Fall (8/17-11/17), Winter (11/27-2/14), Spring (2/20-5/31) Menu. Many of our favorite menu items will stay on the menu, however, this allows us to add some new products to our menus! Our elementary and middle school students taste-tested a variety of new menu items this past fall, and we have selected several of those items to be placed on the spring menu (2/20-5/31). Updated menus will be posted on our website as well as on our app. Nutritional information can also be found on our website.
