Dear Parents and Guardians
Good afternoon,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and was able to enjoy some time with family and friends. As we dive back into school it's hard to believe that we are approaching the final stages of first semester. Please continue to encourage your students to be in attendance and finish strong by completing all their assignments and studying for those summatives!

We also want to mention the importance and impact of being at school each day. Student attendance is important because students are more likely to succeed in academics when they attend school consistently. Students gain background knowledge from discussions while learning in school. Attending school also provides time for social interaction with peers. WMS and the state of Missouri require that our students attend school more than 90% of the time. Please make every effort to come to school.
AMI DAY - (Alternate Method of Instruction) What does this mean for our WMS students? If or when the Windsor C-1 School district has to be out of school for any unforeseen circumstances (snow, ice, flood, water main break, etc.) the Windsor C-1 School District may announce that school will not be in session today, we will be using an AMI DAY. That means that all of our teacher instruction and class work, for that day, will be in your students google classroom. Each teacher will be available to answer emails from 9:00-11:00 am.

HALF-DAY - December 19th & December 20th (Release 11:25 am)
No School - December 23rd - January 6th (Holiday Break)
1st Day of 2nd Semester - January 7th
