This February, we will be celebrating Black History Month through "Culture Month." Each Sunday will feature a theme highlighting different aspects of culture, diversity, and faith.

We are blessed to have our Sr. Pastor, Dr. Ron & 1st Lady Faye Godbolt and our Bishop,

Dr. John L. Godbolt and Elect Lady Vertell Godbolt, leading us through the Christian journey!

Our Bishop, Dr. John Godbolt, preached a powerful lesson entitled "You, First!" It was a lesson about the 3-Fold Giving: Time, Talent & Treasure. His scripture references were: Malachi 3:10-11, St. Luke 19:5, Exodus 3:5, Joshua 5:15, Ruth 4:7-8, and St. Luke 19:8-9.

His lesson objectives were:

1. Discuss the concept of being first

2. Share an example in the life of Zacchaeus.

We were so happy to have Preston and Mardea Varkpeh worshipping with us on Sunday. As you can see, they are really missed.

We were happy to have Sis. Diane Nelson, all the way from London, England and Bro. James Sanders, III, worshipping with us. Their smiles tell us that they are happy to be with us as well!

Dr. Sonny Kelly is an award winning, world class performer, story teller, motivator, speaker, teacher and trainer. He holds a PhD in Communication & Performance Studies from UNC Chapel Hill (2020). As a lover of theater and performance, Dr. Kelly has acted professionally on stage and television for over 30 years. Dr. Kelly is also the playwright and director. He wrote and directed the gospel play Hope’s Light in 2009. He also penned and performed his original one-man performance called The Talk, through which he connects diverse communities to critical and connective conversations around race and difference across America. His latest works are one-man performances entitled The Ongoing Fight for Freedom, Haunted, Indivisible, and The Colored Soldier.

Minister Elenah Kelly and her son, Langston, are two of One Church members being highlighted for their community work with the United Way of Cumberland County. They are working in the food pantry packing and unpacking food for people in need. Thanks for your help!

Family, below is an update of where we are now with our pledge support towards our $600,000.00 goal for our new church. We are excited to have collected $100,000.00 already! We still have a long way to go, so let's get together and "Do What We Can," Do What Is Possible," and "Watch God Do The Impossible!"

Remember the pledges are due March 20, 2025.

As discussed in the town hall meeting, below are ways to pledge your support to purchase our new sanctuary. Please fill out the form below as soon as possible indicating your intentions and or use the pledge card to donate. We are excited to "stick in there together" and give to purchase our new sanctuary.

We will be finishing up the Galatians study on February 12th and February 26th. Our review will be held in the fellowship hall on March 5th.

What an awesome time we had Friday night! I want to thank all of you for your part in making the event a success. The singles had a wonderful time together. The food was amazing as always. Sis Grimes really did her thing! The games, the moderators…thank you LiCi and Royvell and Crystal. Y’all were on point. The closing Rose ceremony by our Bishop and Lady Vertell was the perfect finale. Thank you to all of our married couples that sponsored a single person. We could not have done without all of you! Our servers, April and Rauna and the Grimes Co. were top tier! The music and AV by Jerrick were just what we needed, and the soloist and sax player did not disappoint! Thank you to all Mature Singles for making this event possible! I love you all!
