Lamoille North District Update
Lamoille North Supervisory Union l December 20, 2024
Dear Lamoille North Families and Community Members,
As our winter break approaches, I want to take a moment to reflect on the partnership we share and extend my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support of our students and staff. We are constantly reminded of the strength of our community and the vital role each of you plays in the success of our schools.
Whether through volunteering your time, sharing your talents, or supporting our programs, you have shown time and again that our children’s success is truly a collective effort. Your commitment inspires us and creates an environment where our students can thrive, not only academically but socially and emotionally as well.
As always, I wish you and the ones you love moments of joy, peace, and love. May this time together be filled with warmth, traditions important to you, and opportunities to create memories that you will hold closely for years. As we look ahead to 2025, I am excited about the continued partnership and shared dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of our children.
Wishing you a happy, safe, and love filled winter break!
Cambridge Elementary School Community Budget Discussion
Cambridge and Jeffersonville residents are invited to join CES School Board members and Lamoille North district leaders for a critical FY26 school budget discussion for Cambridge Elementary School on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the CES cafeteria. This meeting offers a vital opportunity to engage in the budget development that supports the education of our community’s children.
The evening on January 8th will include an FY26 budget discussion during which guests can share their thoughts and perspectives, and participate in a preliminary budget presentation.
This discussion is your chance to voice your thoughts, ask questions, and share ideas. Your perspective matters, whether you’re a parent, grandparent, business owner, or resident. It is a unique opportunity to contribute to decisions that impact not only our children’s education but also our community’s future.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Together, we can work toward a budget that provides equity, access, and opportunity for every student at Cambridge Elementary School.
Again, this meeting is for Cambridge and Jeffersonville residents who represent those who vote on the Cambridge School District budget specifically for Cambridge Elementary School.
December 2nd Community Budget Discussion Recording
On Monday, December 2nd, 2024, community members from across Lamoille North attended a preliminary budget discussion focused on the MUUSD elementary schools and Lamoille Union Middle and High Schools.
The dinner and discussion was a chance for community members and stakeholders to share their thoughts and perspectives with the Lamoille North school board members and district leaders and school administration who have been working to develop budgets that holistically support our students across our school community.
If you were unable to join us on December 2nd, please see the video below to watch the recording of the discussion.
More information about our FY26 budget development can be found at the link below.
During this well-deserved winter break, I hope you find time to recharge, reflect, and embrace the peace we hope this season brings. May it prepare us all for the new year ahead, with renewed energy and purpose to continue the meaningful work we do together.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Catherine Gallagher and the entire Lamoille North Administration
