Welcome back to another great week at Ruben Hinojosa Elementary!

Our students and teachers in 3rd - 6th grade are officially done with STAAR tests for this school year. This coming week, our Kinder - 2nd grade students will take their STAAR JR end of year tests. As always, thank you for working together with our teachers to ensure our students are prepared and ready to learn everyday. We kindly ask for your cooperation when scheduling medical appointments for your children during testing days.

This past week we celebrated Earth Day at RHE! Throughout the week, we released over 50 butterflies. Every classroom received a caterpillar a few weeks ago. Students were able to see the butterfly life cycle and release their butterfly when it was ready to fly!

This past week we celebrated Mr. Rivera and Mrs. Flores for the amazing job they do on a daily basis. Thank you for everything that you do for our students, parents, and staff!

This past week we also celebrated our amazing bus drivers. Thank you for everything that you do for our students!
