Principal's Message
Dear Team-
You made it!!! I hope that you enjoy your well-deserved and much needed break! I will send another newsletter on January 2nd.
Weekly Highlights:
- Sip and paint was one of the most beautiful events. Thank you for participating and thank you to the Sunshine Committee for putting this together. HUGE shout out to Espinosa for leading us.
Upcoming Events:
- January 3rd is a teacher workday at Galileo Middle School.
- January 6th is PD at Galileo for IE MOI 301. We will be in Haddenham's room from 7:30a-2:30p.
Reminders:
- Relax and do not work over break! If you do, please track your hours so that you can use Sustainability Grant monies to get reimbursed.

Operational Updates
Staffing Updates
Mr. Flores has resigned and will not be returning after winter break. We wish him best of luck on his next adventure! Thank you to Ms. Makrucki, Mr. Kaczmarek and Ms. Olivier for taking on an extra class to ensure that our 8th graders do not have daily subs.
Ms. O'Dell and Ms. Courtier have joined out team! Ms. O'Dell will be teaching one section of 8th grade math. Together they will be offering an interventions class for our students. Please welcome Julie O'Dell and Jill Courtier to our team!!
Cindy Kisielnicki has resigned from her position. We have posted her position and will begin interviewing when we return from break.

Students will engage in tasks that meet the intent of the standard as they interact in teams as measured by Q3, Q4, & Q7 on the Rigor Walk 2.0 in 75% of classrooms and 50% of teachers will progress through 101.6 on the MOI Progression by 1.29.2025

I'm excited to share that we have one teacher who has most recently BADGED in 101.6 implementation. CONGRATULATIONS, Mr. Banker for this incredible achievement. We are so excited for you and your students...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!
Next up to receive an implementation badge....drumroll, please.... Ms. Makrucki!!!! She and her students are on Lever 7. Bet they achieve this greatness when we return.
