Hello Smallville,

I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend. In between traveling to San Antonio for my son’s soccer tournament, I plan on camping out on my couch to watch some Christmas movies. This week we kicked off “Wacky Winter Weeks!” sponsored by our Student Council. I especially enjoyed the “dress like a present day” it really showcased our staff and student’s creativity.

We are only eight days away from our upcoming holiday break, but even though the break is right around the corner, we are busy ensuring that we wrap up the fall semester with fun, positive, and engaging curriculum content. All of our teachers provide tutoring and support, please continue to check in with your Cougar to ensure that they are progressing toward their academic goals.

For the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, AISD has approved changes to our Math offerings at the middle school level. Dr. Susan Diaz, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Academics is providing Zoom sessions to give you a deeper understanding of the changes. Please view this link for more information.
